The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) has adopted the model publication scheme for bodies only covered for certain information approved by the Information Commissioner. The publication scheme commits the FRC to make information available to the public as part of its normal business activities and sets out the classes of information that the FRC should publish.
The FRC website is the source of the information covered by the publication scheme as well as any other information we routinely make available. The classes of information are:
- Who we are and what we do
- What we spend and how we spend it
- What our priorities are and how we are doing
Our Plan & Budget and Annual report are the principle sources for strategic information under the first three classes. Further information is contained in the About the FRC section of the website.
- How we make decisions
- Our policies and procedures
Our policies and procedures and how we make decisions are set out in the Professional Oversight and About the FRC sections of the website.
The Register of Third Country Auditors is the only information under this class.
The FRC is not directly involved in the provision of services.
