The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) has today launched a recruitment campaign, in conjunction with the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), for three additional non-executive directors to join the FRC Board.
The ideal candidates will come from institutional investment management, actuarial and local government backgrounds and will provide significant impact and strategic oversight of the work of the FRC.
The FRC’s Chairman, Sir Jan du Plessis said:

“The FRC has in recent years undergone significant change to become a much more respected and assertive regulator, with increased credibility and influence and a clear vision for the future.

As we enter the next phase of our transformation, it is important we have the experience and expertise from additional non-executive directors who will be joining the FRC at a pivotal moment in the transformation journey with far-reaching decisions required over the coming years.”

Candidates from a wide range of diverse backgrounds and experience throughout the UK are encouraged to apply.
Further information about the recruitment process is available in the candidate briefing pack.
