Webinar: revision to actuarial standards in the pensions sector

The FRC is pleased to invite you to attend a webinar on the proposed revisions to Technical Actuarial Standard 300 (TAS 300) and the introduction of Technical Actuarial Standard 310 (TAS 310) relating to pensions.

We have published a consultation to update the actuarial standards for pensions to ensure they remain relevant and reflect the latest developments in the pension industry. The proposed revisions to TAS 300 include requirements for providing advice on setting actuarial factors and for bulk transfer exercises including buyout transactions with an insurer and transfers to a pension superfund. TAS 310 sets out the standards for actuarial work in relation to collective money purchase pension schemes.

During the webinar, the FRC’s Actuarial Policy Team will provide insight into the proposed changes, their implications, and what they mean for the pension industry.
