The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) invites stakeholders to attend an upcoming webinar on recent amendments to FRS 102, to discuss how it will impact UK charities and how they can start preparing for implementation of the updated reporting requirements.
When: Wednesday 15 January 2025, 11:00-11:45
FRS 102, and the accompanying Charities Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP), set the reporting requirements for almost 40,000 UK charities, ensuring they are underpinned by a robust financial reporting framework. This promotes transparency and accountability for a wide variety of stakeholders with an interest in the charity sector.
The webinar will be of interest to charity CEOs and CFOs, audit firms, independent examiners, and Trustees.
Attendees will hear from:
- Emily Duncan, FRC Head of Stakeholder Engagement
- Jenny Carter, FRC Director of Accounting and Reporting Policy
- Representatives from the Charities SORP-making body
A link to join the webinar will be sent to registered attendees prior to the event.
