We are very proud to be introducing our Supporting Transgender and Intersex Employees policy.
The policy sets out the FRC’s approach towards supporting employees who are transgender, intersex and non-binary and for those employees who are proposing to undergo, are undergoing or have undergone gender reassignment both during recruitment and while working at the FRC.
We believe that diversity and inclusion bring benefits to the business and that people work better when they can be themselves and feel a sense of belonging to the organisation they work for.
In this episode, Kate O'Neill (Director of Stakeholder Engagement and Corporate Affairs) Speaks to Chris Nelson (Forensic Accountant), and Anthony Shivbarat (Lead D&I and Talent Development)at the FRC about why this policy is so important.
We are committed to welcoming and supporting transgender employees and removing barriers to their recruitment, promotion, and retention. Providing a working environment that is free from discrimination, harassment, or victimisation because of sex and/ or gender is an important step in ensuring transgender employees are respected and valued.
